Get Involved
Avenue Scholars recruits high school sophomores who may be interested in careers outside of the traditional four-year college pathway. We often receive recommendations for eligible students from school guidance counselors, administrators, teachers, and other contacts.

Recruitment Window
Our recruitment window typically runs from October to January. Career Coaches at partner high schools will share information on joining the program at various school events during this period.
Career Fields
Avenue Scholars prioritizes students who are interested in any of the following career fields after graduation:
- Healthcare
- Skilled Trades
- Transportation
- Business
- Education
- Information Technology (IT)
Selected students will begin in the program their junior year.

- Bellevue West High School
- Omaha Benson High School
- Omaha Bryan High School
- Omaha North High School
- Omaha Northwest High School
- Omaha South High School
- Omaha Westview High School
- Millard North High School
- Millard South High School
- Papillion La Vista High School
- Ralston High School
- Westside High School
- Elkhorn Public Schools (Elkhorn High School, Elkhorn North High School, Elkhorn South High School)
